| Boiler: | JvR ‘C’ type with two flue tubes and superheater. Also two water tubes in firebox. |
| Boiler fittings | Regulator, blower, pressure gauge, water gauge with blowdown, clack valve and two safety valves. |
| Axle pump: | Fitted to loco with bypass valve |
| Lubricator: | Oil tank behind front buffer beam. |
| Tender: | Lift out fuel tank and water tank with hand pump. |
