Above are three photographs taken by Chris Hoddinott of his Aster 9F built as 92245. He says, "This is my first "Aster" build and was a very enjoyable experience throughout. The locomotive has not yet run on a railway but performs to perfection on a test roller-bed. It runs smoothly to almost mid-gear in both forward and reverse. The locomotive and tender plates were obtained from Diane Carney and the 8" cabside numerals were from Fox Transfers. I am now in the process of building a 12 coach train of BR Mk1 coaches for my engine to haul much as the full size engine did on the "Somerset & Dorset" back in the summer of 1962".
